In my most recent visit Yeesica was helpful and Dr. Savoji did an excellent job of balancing a professional and compassionate explanation of what’s been going on and how to move forward! Pros: Incredibly nice staff, very conscious of pain, clear communication, quality work, good follow-up care. Cons: A bit expensive, but with my Delta Dental HMO not that bad, and they offer payment plans. My experience with Mira Mesa Smiles was more than wonderful. Growing up an orphan, dealing with years of depression, and having a few very bad experiences with dentists had led me to neglecting my teeth a lot. Some of my front teeth were falling apart, and for years I couldn't smile, or even open my mouth because I was so embarrassed. When I went in to Mira Mesa Smiles, they were immediately very kind and helpful. They took x-rays and did an inspection, and set up a treatment plan for me. They helped educate me on what was going on and, unlike other dentists, were very clear on what everything meant and how it would work out. I ended up needing a few crowns and a bridge, but the process of getting the work done was painless and easy. They would immediately stop if I was experiencing pain, have follow-ups and answer questions after appointments, and even took extra time to make sure I got exactly the shade of crown I wanted. When I walked out of their office last week, I looked in the mirror and actually loved my smile for the first time in forever. I legit cried on the way home. Everything looks so natural and my mouth feels so much better now. I'd highly recommend this office to anyone who needs dental work. Huge props to the entire team. <3
